Ingredients
- A whole radish (3/4 pound)
- Scallion
- Thinly cut beef (1/2 pound)
- Garlic (1 tbsp)
- Fish sauce (1 tbsp)
- Salt (2 tsp)
- 2 Quarts of water
Instructions
To make the soup first start by slicing the beef and radish into bit sized pieces, mince the garlic.
Add the radish abd the water to a pot. Turn up the heat to medium or high and bring to a boil.
Once it's boiling reduce the heat to a simmer, cover with lid and let cook for 10 mins.
After 10 mins uncover add the garlic and beef. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 20-25 uncovered. While cooking skim the foam from the top.
After the 20-25 mins add fish sauce and salt and combine. If it tastes good by now add scallion and cook for another 2-5 mins.
